The creation of this new ensemble, Camerata IMEP, marks a major turning point for the IMEP string section, positioning it as one of the IMEP's flagship departments. The pedagogical dynamic thus initiated is intended as a strong response to the reality of today's professional world.
The "Camerata IMEP" is made up of fifteen instrumentalists from the Institute of all levels and ages, selected on the basis of a competition whose recruitment is modelled on the reality of professional orchestral competitions and whose jury is made up of leading figures in the field.
